01
Phone Assessment
We ask about your dryer model, vent length, roof or wall termination, and how long a typical load takes. That tells us whether you need a standard clean or a longer auger run. You get a flat price range before anyone is dispatched, usually within a few minutes on the phone.
02
Setup and Protection
Our technician lays drop cloths, connects the HEPA vacuum to the vent line, and seals the work area. We pull the dryer out carefully and disconnect the transition duct. Setup takes about 10 minutes, and we keep the negative air machine running the whole time so loosened debris never enters your laundry room.
03
Mechanical Cleaning
We feed a rotary brush duct cleaning machine through the full run, forward and back, until the brush meets no resistance. Stubborn felted lint gets a pass with a dryer vent auger or air compressor whip. This is the step that removes the packed material a shop vac cannot touch, and it takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on length.
04
Camera Verification
Before we call the job done, we run a duct camera inspection system through the line and show you the screen. You see the clean duct wall and the open exterior hood yourself. If we find a crushed section, a disconnected joint, or a pest nest, we tell you what it needs before we close up.
05
Reconnect and Test
We reconnect the transition duct, seal joints with foil tape and duct sealant mastic where needed, and push the dryer back. Then we run a load and check exterior airflow by hand. You get a written summary of what we removed and a recommended next service date, usually 12 months out for a two-person household.
